8 More Days!

Hi guys. So i am almost done with this program and the time has flown by! I am going to miss it, but Im so ready to go home as well. Friday and Saturday I worked from 11pm till 5:45am for disney's last grad nites. Before work on Friday I went to illuminations with Pam and we explored EPCOT as well. Before illuminations we saved our spots for an hour and played with a little 3 year old brittish boy named will and some girls who were next to us as well. The lady next to me had a 4 year old girl, a 5 year old girl, a 6 month crying girl, and a one month sleeping boy. This lady was stressed, she wanted to leave because of the crying baby but couldnt push two strollers and have two kids as well. so she kept trying to reach her friends by radio to come and help her take the kids home, but they were on test track and couldnt hear her. During the show will sat with Pam and so did one of the little girls, while I helped the stressed out lady guard teritory. Eventually her family and friends came to help her and she was very thankful for our help entertaining her children. It was certainly and interesting illuminations, but a fun ones. Here are some fun pictures from our day.

The next day I worked grad nite again from 11pm till 545am so I went to Downtown Disney with cheryl and saw the new lego store and then we went and saw fantasmic and it was so much fun. Here are pictures of the new lego store.

Monday I had off of work and in the morning I went shopping with Ethan and Kimberly from work. I found I had more money than I thought I did so I bought a new vera bradely purse and some mickey pajama pants. Then Ethan and I went to magic kingdom had a snack and watched the parade. Next I went and met ariel and he left to go to a concert with his roomate. I spent the rest of the day bumming around magic kingdom. My favorite momment was in line for haunted mansion. The girl behind me from England seemed to be really scared. So I told her my 9 year old neice and 4 year old nephew went on it and they had fun. She kept asking me questions about the ride in her cute little accent and I told her and her sister that they would be ok that it was just some ghosts going to a bithday party at this old house. I told them what to expect and played with them in the que line. The mom was really nice and I told her I worked here and she said that it was cool and such. Then we went on the ride and the little girl was like can I ride with you? So I rode with the little girl and her mom. The other little girl rode with the grandma. The little girl was slightly scared but made it though the ride okay. On our way out the mom asked my name and I said it was Kayla. She said well her name is Anika and it was so nice to meet you. I said good bye to Anika even though she desperatly wanted me to hang out with her for the rest of the day. Later while waiting for the parade I saw Anika looking for a parade spot with her family and I said Hi Anika She waved back and had the biggest grin on her face. It was really nice to meet them. Here are some pictures of my day:

Today was Disney Graduation. I went and go my graduating ears and a certificate and even a poster that I am going to have all my disney friends sign. Then Cheryl and our friends from boardwalk and I went to Magic Kingdom and took pictures. We had a great time. Here are some more pictures for you to enjoy!

So only 8 more glorious days of working. I hope it all goes well.

Formal, Last Classes, Water Park, Poly!

Hey guys,

My two off days this week were fabulous, too bad I have to go back to work tonight. Well anyways on Monday I slept till 3pm because I worked till 5 am the night before. Then I did some cleaning and then I went to class at 4. My last class of Disney Heritage was fun. Last week we won the scavenger hunt so my team got a prize of College Program 30th anniversary pins. Then I went home and got ready for spring formal at coronodo springs resort. I went to the dance with my boardwalk friends: Cheryl, Ryan, Coree, and Karrin. We all looked amazing, had a lot of fun and ate a lot of food.

The next day I had my last Marketing You class with Cheryl and then Cheryl, Jenice, Karrin, and I went to Typhoon Lagoon Water park. The coolest thing we did was swim with sharks. They provide you with snorkle masks and you can swim accross an area filled with sharks and fish and stingrays. It was very nerve racking, but we all had fun conquring a scary thing. After that Cheryl made dinner for me and then we met up with Markus, Peter, and Logan. Sadly Peter self terminated himself because he really hated his job and needed to go home. So we celebrated his last night by watching wishes from the polynesian beach. We took lots of goofy pictures and had dole whips becasue they are peter's favorite. Then we went back to the boys house and played apples to apples. The night ended with promises to visit Peter and then we parted ways. Overall these two days were fantabulous, its just sad to see Peter go. It reminds me that in 18 short days I will have to leave all these fabulous people behind as well. So bittersweet.
